Thread: 2 Quick Ideas for Pistoleers

1. Make Pistol Melee Defense 1 and 2 into melee attacks, rather than ranged attacks. I gasped when I dueled my Jedi friend and he blocked my PMD1. Oh, and make PMD2 work for KD.


2. Allow Pistoleers to attack while KD'd. Novice Pistoleer could get the ability, the accuracy mod would work the same as while moving, and there could be "+xx pistol accuracy" while knocked down mods throughout the trees.


Just a couple thoughts to go along with the gripes about disarming shot, stopping shot, pmd2, etc.

I'm a little bit rusty, and haven't logged on in over a week or two, but I remember that PMD2 never states that it should knockdown? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think it is supposed to.


As for the second...I'm not sure what that means, but if it's what I'm guessing...well, it doesn't make much sense to me. As for the gripes with the other specials...well, let's not get into that.

pmd1 doesn't say that it's a KD either. all it says is "this attack is useful for close encounters." pmd2 says "this attack is useful for close encounters. this attack is more damaging that pmd1"

PMD1 knocks down. i tried it and it works, umm.. sometimes but i does knock down. as for PMD2 i dont know im not high up that tree yet. so i dont know

PistolWhip1 knocks down.


I think PistolWhip2 should Dizzy until we get a profession fix.

ok pmd1 does kd cause when u try it it either says to the effect that the npc has been kd or it has failed too.


and pmd 2 does cause it doesnt come up with that mewssage but that is only with my experiance but i dont find pmd 2 any use cause it only does slight more dam and y use it when i have stoping shot. i use pmd1 cause it does have kd and works ussually for me when the npc is half dead about and only ussually once but that is only my experiance
