i dont know if this has been asked before but i am new to the forums but have been playing for a while.

how does the speed mods work. like if i get a +6 does that make it from 2.5 to 2.44?

also what should i go for a fast pistol or high damage pistol? for pve? pvp?

The attack speed on this game usea simple enough mathmatical formula that is all but perfect.

The speed of your weapon is it's base speed in seconds if you have a speed mod of zero. You're actual speed mod is a percentage reduction of this, pistol speed = 50 means a fifty percent reduction on the weapon speed.

You must also recognise however, that each sepcial move comes with a delay multiplier that applied to the weapon speed before your speed mod reduction.

I personally prefer faster guns to higher damage ones, but once you're pistol speed breaks 90 (with tapes or BH speed mods) you will find that you're so fast that you don't need fast guns anymore.
