Most ppl now adays use a psg so i'd go w/ a high dmg scatter and just power it up

You'd get about the same DPS w/ half the cost

With a really good DE-10, you can do some really nice damage using torso shot or eye shot. I switch between that and a geo pistol myself, and I have been doing very very well in PvP, and im a Wookiee, so no uber armor for me.

Unless they have crazy energy resists, the DE-10 will knock the socks off a Scatter Pistol. I was testing my new one out today (419 max dmg, 3.8 speed) against my Scatter Pistol (which admittedly is non-krayted with a max damage of 191) and I absolutely wasted the Tusken Warlord with my DE-10, wheras my Scatter Pistol wasn't quite as effective unless I KD'd him.

For reference the warlord is vulnerable to acid, is AR1 and has some energy resists.

To be honest though, in PvP your probably best off with a Geonosian blaster unless your enemy has stun protection.

Why ask either or? Have both and use as best suited by the enemies resists.
