Uhh.. you may think it odd, but thats where it is at.. Since it is looted though you don't see in on the skill's page, you have to examine one to see the cert requirement in the descrition.

Currently Pistol Tech II. Not sure if it is changing with the CU though.

That would be a little out of order since alot of pistoleers use the Geonosian Blaster?

also with the removal of stun as a damage type, the Geo may not be as predominint now.

Truthfully, if the tangle pistol were a viable gun and roughly equivalent to the geo pistol, I'd use it instead. I like the sound of it, and the beam effect, but the gun itself is ugly as sin. I can't wait to see what the final guns look like in the CU.

But, to answer the original question (as the people above me also did), the Geonosian pistol is certified at the Techniques 2 box in Pistoleer.
