Hmm, I was at the toy store this past weekend and they have this "Ask Yoda" toy.(It's like the old 8-ball toy). So I asked him a couple things and this is the scoop: No,we will not have the ability to dual wield pistols. Sorry, but that came straight from Yoda, not any of the Devs(they don't know what they are talking about anyway). If you don't believe me, go to the toy store and ask him yourself.

Now I have to run back down there and ask him about the Smuggler revamp.

i love that idea now imagen standing in the middel of a large PvP group and you have your DE-10's blasting and the courpses fall to your feet HAHAHA. if i had two identacal DE-10'si could be doing 1200k+ of dmg pur shot lol

No dual wielding is not in the CU, but it may be at some point after the CU.

And I doubt it will just double your damage...that would be rather over powered and not balanced wouldnt it?
