I just hit master pistoleer, and was about to buy me a nice fat DE-10 when I suddenly thought that it might not be a good idea with the CU coming. Will the DE-10 still be the dog's bollocks for pistoleers after the CU or should I wait? I'm not flush with cash on my pistoleer so I don't want to waste money.
Cheers.

Unfortunitly, the de10 post CU is being turned into a weapon equal to or worse than other crafted pistols. So, unless you want it for the cool factor, I would wait.
I am going to be upset if they don't fix that though. I spent over a month gathering supplies for a 537dmg De10 and it isn't right to make a gun like that equal to a gun that isn't as hard to obtain.

Thanks.
I'm reading that the FWG5 Featherweight is converting very well, does this apply to normal FWG5s aswell?

Buy a Modified Republic Blaster and Featherweight FWG5 though they are so cheap you can probably get several.

Actually, I recommend buyingsome weapons now. Don't go overboard, but it might be a while before weaponsmiths get the new schematics going. I have a few pistols ready to go. And since slicing in the CU seems to be borked, I recommend slicing beforehand, too.
Like I said, don't go nuts and buy multi-million dollar weapons, but you might as well pick up a few extra if you need them. That way, after the conversion, you have a better chance of having a pretty decent gun while the smiths get set up again.

My Krayted DX2 converted to the best damage output out of all my Krayted and Gorax'd guns. Just grab one of them as well.

Is it only the featherweight FWG5 that will be good or normal ones too? I've seen a very tasty one.
Cheers.

well a pistol with over 400 DPS is a nice gun. Since a "normal" gun is around 200-250 DPS.

I have no problem with 400+DPS being a good gun. What i have a problem with is that, as a casual player it took me over a month to gather Tissues, Barrels & Schems to get a 500+ dmg de10, post-slice, and NO gun that I can get off the public bazaar's should covert to be better or even close. I don't even think that any gun that doesn't require a limited use schematic should be comparable to my 537dmg De10. That is what upsets me the most.
