Thread: DL-44 XT usable by Master Pistoleer?

I'm currently 4140 BH, Master Pistoleer. I was rooting through my house looking for some Recon Armor, and stumbled upon an old looted DL-44 Metal I got a while ago hunting Tuskens. It was now a DL-44 XT (with some very nice stats, I might add). I could equip it without any Smuggler skills...Anyone know if this was intended, or a bug?

I must have missed the notice, why would we not be able to? Wasn't this pistol *made* for Master Pistoleer? I keep hearing of smugglers getting it... do we get the Renegade pistol then? Can it be a double cert?
Just seems kinda crazy to give it away... it was *made* to put common star wars weapons in the master slot of the professions. That's like taking the E-11MKII and giving it to bounty hunters or something...

(And I'm not just saying this because I bought a Krayted DL-44XT with great stats just todayassuming this was a great new Pistoleer weapon...)

Not sure whether it's a bug or not. But, I too had a DL-44XT laying around. I checked the stats on it and it was better then the DX-2 I was using. Wasn't that good of a piston before.

Yeah i think they changed it to just a level based weapon, i had some made before the CU an they turned out good. The best was 330 base dps which was better than any of my weapons.

At one point they had moved the DL 44XT as a master smuggler weapon. But I believe it is now a level 54 weapon meaning any level 54 character (Master pistoleer being that) can use it. Of course they did the same to our beloved DE-10 which any joe schmoe with some skill points can now wield

Well at least they kept it in the game though. So let's just be thankful for that. Plus I am more in love with the DL-44 XT model myself. But then again, it was my favorite pistol from the movies too.
