You don't like recon armour? Tantel, Ubese, Maraurder and Factional not to your liking?

Did you like comp helms that much?

Personally, I love the Marauder recon armor's appearance, and that's mostly what I wore on test center. There's not one to be found on my server though at the moment.

ahhh Marauder was never listed as recon armor before, it was listed as battle. thats cool to know unless your getting that mixed up with Mabari armor, wich is the zam wessel armor. wich IMO is great looking (at least on me) i bought it pre-cu for looks and now it came in handy but the old list of recon armor was:

Reconnaissance Armor
Ubese, Tantel, Mabari, Kashyyykian Ceremonial, Ithorian Guardian, Marine Rebel (Factional), Scout Trooper (Factional)

has that changed? and one more thing... Ubese FOrever! Ubese > Composite anyday

Hehe, I suspect that some of us will also probably remain (or become) pistoleers simply for thelook of wielding a pistol. As for ubese, I have a hard time looking at that stuff and picturing anybody but Princess Leia wearing it!

Just remember that that Ubese survivial suit (it wasn't armor in the movie) was the property of an Ubese bounty hunter named Boushh, who apparently ran afoul of Black Sun (See the Shadows of the Empire novel for more info).

At least on test center, there were two versions of Marauder armor--one was definitely recon, and I guess the other was probably battle. They looked different--I definitely preferred the look of the recon version--and I'm fairly certain that I'm not confusing it with Mabari (I know what that stuff looks like). Unfortunately they don't give me an option to convert my existing armor to Marauder, so I hope it is even available in the live game.

Actually there were 3 versions of marauder armor on the frogs. There was one version for each type of armor. I liked wearing the marauder assault armor, but needed to wear a different helm with it. The marauder recon armor helm is cool. It's sort of a space ninja thing with a visor over the eyes. Unfortunately the default color scheme on the helm is rather pink.

Haha..I feel the same exact way man. I always see anyone wearing the full outfit to be Leia. Myself I use the jacket, the pants and the gloves and arm pieces..but I use the Tantel boots and a Maribi helm. Once Marauder Recon gets into the game then I will probably switch over to that. I really like it on test center. Ok, in your opinion fellow pistoleers..what is the best and most effective armor though to wear for our profession? Does it really matter that much now? Thanks for any input into this.
