probably been asked before, blah, blah....

When I use a Pup, it lowers my DPS. Is this a known issue? Problem with Pre-CU Pups? What's going on...anyone know?

Thanks.

i think they screwed in converted PUs. the day CY went live i had a crate of non converted damage PUs (and they incresed my dps by about 150-200) and then got converted to crap that lowers my dps by 20....

Seem like the PU are increasing the speed of the weapons, becasue on my PUs its says Dmg +32% Speed +13% so the weapon speed is inscrease instead of being lowered like it did Pre-CU.

I have about 600, well now there called tactical grips. The first few days they did nothing, but now they are working. Though the increased dps is very minor.

here's some info I just copy and pasted from our guild forum the thing with powerups now is they will all have a positive off set by a negative so you increase your damage the shots are logically slower:

ok they are no longer random the different power ups have a purpose now becareful each power up is offset by a penalty you can experiment on the effectivness which increases both atributes and limited experimentation on the efficiency which decreases the negative atribute ...slightly...here's some that I made with skil just playing around

Ranged:
High powered barrel
+22.4% dmg
+14.4% spd yes this slows the weapon down

Reinforced Stock
-22.9% action cost
-15 accuracy (not a % but a deduction from your accuracy number)

Tactical grip
-17.95% spd
-24 accuracy

Tuning cupler
+17.95% elemental damage
-12.43% base damage

Burst focusing muzel
+19.8% wound
+13.6% action cost

Melee:
element dispersal
+17.95% elemental dmg
-12.3% base dmg

Hilt rienforcement kit
-19.3% action cost
-13 accuracy

Internal fluctuator
+17.9% dmg
+12.3% spd

Surface suration
+13.8% action cost
+20 wound

thats all i got so far again im not the best artisan and not using the best materials but the name sort of gives you the mod which is nice and there is also no more random results which is a crafting nucence.

just keep in mind that they of set a bonus with a negative

so if your like me with a ton of accuracy you may want to offset that with a spd power up or action cost power up to compensate and sacrifice what you have in abundance....or not use them at all which is pretty much what i think im doing.../shrug
