On the first day of the CU I found some Metal DL44's on a vendor that where over 430dps with my skill mods and they where priced at 3500cr. I bought 10 of them up.
I have serached all over and even back at the same vendor to buy more but the same pistols at the same vendors are now only 280 some odd DPS and my Metal DL44's are called DL44XT.
Did I come across a good deal? Whats going on there?

The DL44 XT is a high end version of the Metal, and any existing pre-CU DL44 metals were converted into the XT when the upgrade went live. You got a good deal on what you have, I'd say

My pre-nerf.....er CU Krayted DL-44's converted to 547/dps DL44 XT's they are my MP/MBZH toons main weapons. My DE10 on the other hand turned into junk.

Yeah, I really like my DL44 XT. Pre-CU it was 250 max, unkrayted. A very nice PvE DL44 crafted with extremely high OQ/COND. Now it's my staple weapon, with a nice 460+ DPS modified.

my friend let me borrow her DL44 XT, but the damn thing has 115 SAC vs my 82 SAC on the pre-CU slicedfeatherweight FWG. the SAC increase doesn't justify the extra damage, unfortunately (in my case.) Once the DL gets sliced though, maybe it'll balance out.

Thanks. It's nice to be back. WoW is great, but I'd much rather see this game work as well as WoW does than play WoW anyway.

exactly the same here my dl44XT is 578 mod dps, its my baby

with power up and my speed mods , my converted de-10 shows now 789 dps... thing is, actually , i don't notice much difference from when i had 550 or 600,, but thats another story....
