I've had some weapons made this morning, and I am still pondering which one I should put my ADK on. Note, I have ran some tests this morning and it seems minimum damage has a very minimal effect on actual damage output, a 392-853pistol would only do 2 more damage than a 342-853 on the same monsters with the same special. 782 vs 780 damage, respectively.

355-948 1.71 381.42dps (This is the one im leaning towards)
391-949 1.79 374.19dps
394-949 1.8 373.4dps
354-942 1.69 383.2dps

Any advice would be welcome.

Yeah, I'd probably go with the first one, despite the lower min damage. They are all pretty nice, and in the same ballpark, so I'd say you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Just curious, but what type of pistols are these?

And were they made using Krayt tissues or any other type of components to boost that stats?

If you consider they're all the same SAC, go for the first one

Have they been sliced? if not i would wait until slicing issues are sorted out then get them sliced then compare then again might make a big diffrence.

If they have been sliced i would go for number two as a mbh/mp .08 speed is not going to make a huge diffrence.

In llight of Nifty's findings (in another thread here) on how the DPS stat may not reflect the actual damage dealt by a given weapon, you may want to test out these various weapons on the same type of mob (using the same type of shot) to find out which one gives you the best actual damage before you ADK it.

Personally, I am holding off ADK'ing anything right now, because I'm going to have to destroy some nice items to recoved my ADK's, and I am curious to see if the devs are going to adjust the stats of any weapons or armor as they tweak the CU.

I'd say any of the first 3 would be fine. If you look at the damage before armor with a basic ranged shot, I'd guess the first one would be around 905 or so. The second one will prolly be a few points higher, and the 3rd will be the same as the 2nd or maybe one point higher. Will you notice the speed difference between 1.71 and 1.79? I have no idea. Even if the 2nd hits for 5 points more (just a guess) that's still only gonna be like 9 points more before armor with Adv Critical. 90 point difference over 10 shots? Don't think that's significant really. I think any of them would be just fine. I'd go test each one out on the same level mob and see which one "feels" the best.
