Get the intimidate shot line....to me it works alot better than warning shot.

I like warning shot from the grips line a lot more than Intimidate from tech... plus you get +20 pistol speed and +10 general ranged accuracy.with grips.

Improved Body Shot is a nice damage special, although Improved QuickDraw at Tech 1 is nice too.

intimidate seems to be failing a lot more recently.... i'd go with grips to perfectly honest

Neither. If you have two lines go with x4x4. Stopping shot in last line is a nice root. In the second line you have your stun and disarm shot.

It seems everybody is going to have a different answer to your question. I have to agree with GrandMoffmoosemillion on getting the Stopping Shot line. For the second line, it would be a toss-up for me depending on what other mods I already had from other professions, but I might be inclined to pick up the Pistol Grips line for the speed mods (assuming you're going to be using a pistol for your weapon of choice and are not going to be using your various specials with another weapon). Ont he other hand, the accuracy and defense mods that you get from the other two lines would be useful no matter what weapon you have equipped.

Now that I think about it, it really depends on what you do more; pve or pvp. From there you can make a much better template fitting to your playing style.
