So I have a +15 Intimidation CA. I was wondering if this will help land intimidation shot better just like if I was using the melee intimidation skill. Has anyone been able to test this at all? LordMaxx have any info on this?

Hmm, that'd be cool if it did. Do brawlers still have intimidate? I'd be interested in an answer too this too, but my guess is no because we have no +intimidation skill to begin with.

I dont have an official answer...but Im pretty sure they dont...now that there is just an intimidate shot and we have no modifier it just sticks or it doesnt based on an actual hit and probably straight percentage chance...

Yeah, I know I've hit with Intim Shot and still had the effect resisted. Darn annoying too! lol I'm betting it's based off a percentage, but skill modifiers that could increase that percentage chance would be useful, esp at higher levels.

Since the skill can still be resisted when we hit, maybe the CA's will help. Will you do any digging on this LordMaxx? It would be cool if we could get the devs to add this if it's not working already.

I believe the intimidate CA's work the same as BE stuff with Intimidate bonuses. That would be that they only give the bonus to melee intimidation skills, not ranged intims.
But who knows for sure until the mighty red names speak up.

It seems to me that Intimidate CA's wouldn't even do anything for a melee prof anymore, because unless I am missing something, there is no longer a mod called "Intimidate" in the stats for any profession. Did these SEA's just become obsolete?
