In order to use the Pistol Launcher?

MasterMarks+Master Pistoleer+Novice Commando with some pts left to do other things?

Absolutely, I took Novice Squad Leader so I could send a system message...and did the Leadership line so I could get the broken melee defenses...oh...yeah. But anyway, I think its a great idea to take all the classes up to their weapon cert and combine it with Pistoleer. Don't have my game handy (on vacation but have a comp) but where does the BH get the scatter? Novice?

The launcher pistol is an excellent gun ( supposed to work at ar2 but I think its bugged a bit, such as it acts as ar0 vs unarmoed and ar1 vs ar1armor, but acts as ar2 vs ar2 and ar3. It also looks awesome to fire. Great PVP gun because of the AR and the high damage.

The unarmed prereq is very versitile as well. It also allows you to take smuggler, for the ranged knockdown in the dirty fighting line ( if you dont plan to take master pistoleer ), and also allows you to take Teras Kasi, which has awesome defensive bonuses. The Teras Kasi combat exp line is very nice for melee and ranged defense, and the balance line will be incredible once Defense Vs ... is fixed.

I ended up taking the BH pistol line becauseI wanted extra accuracy/speed and Eye Shot though.

You think that everyone who takes Smuggler should want to make drugs, hack terminals/items, and buy/sell faction?

Are you a Master Brawler/Master Marksman?Becuase otherwise it appears that you have taken those professions for a single line...ugh.

im very protective of my smuggler class. for me its a class that either needs to be embraced fully or left alone completely. its like speccing novice smuggler just to slice...

Sorry Azures, but as a Master Marksman, Novice Brawler/Master Artisan/Novice Merchant/Novice Smuggler/Novice Commando/Novice Pistoleer, I have to do some picking and choosing in all my professions. I only took Smuggler so I can have the title Rogue

No I wouldn't, but I might take BH for the Pistol skills there .. as I believe others are. However, as for me .. my final spec will be Master Commando, Master Pistoleer, and Novice Smuggler .. and no, I can't get Rogue as a title unless they up the pts from 250.

I've seen countless people take it for carbine or pistol alone.

LOL! Many Bounty Hunters only spec the weapon line of their choice. You're naive to think otherwise. The profession system in SWG is designed to be flexible. Get overany pre-conceived notions of how ANY "class" is supposed to work.
