I'm glad to see your subject. I too would like to hear some opinions on the subject.

Stances and Grips - Stopping Shot and Fan Shot.
Enough said.
I am at 3-1-0-1 in pistoleer. I plan to advance exclusively in stances and grips now, should have done it to start. When I get to 3-1-3-2I am not sure which whill be next.

The first box i took in Pistoleer was marksmanship but its the only box in marksmanship ive taken. I only advanced the pistol skill in marksman so the added to hits made sense for me (no master marksman). After that its stances and grips for the special shots and the soon-to-be-fixed resistances (cross fingers). I have Pistol Melee One and the added to hits for moving seem to help me as i close in shooting on the mob to pistol whip it. Stopping shot is great but it does require extra time after use before another attack can be made and it effects a random stat pool.
For me standard combat sequence is Kneel / Aim / Bleed / Stopping Shot / BS2 / Kip Up shot (mob arrives) / Pistol whip / BS2 / Pistol whip / BS2 ... Comments welcomed! Other players I know use prone to begin with and are sometimes able to get two extra shots in. But I dont like to grub in the mud like a rifleman for RP reasons.Dont have fan shot yet but im about halfway there.
Pistol Melee Defense One (knockdown) is essential for PvE and makes our class competitive.
Dont have BS3 but most folkssay BS2 is just as good so i took the general consensus and left the first tree alone. The abilities in the first tree didnt seem as powerful; those of you who have them and use them please enlighten the rest of us!
Still deciding if I want to give up my artisan skills to master pistoleer. Currently Doctor (master medic prereq) / Pistoleer / Artisan / Scout. I do not plan on giving up all my scout skills. The + 10 to hit creatures with Hunting II is great and I like harvesting what i kill. The terrain modifiers will leave other players crawling in your dust. The ability to make a camp for healing and bringing out pets/probots is great! Cant decide on branching out in Smuggler to get slicing ability or tough it out for Master Pistoleer. Other option wouuld be to work up the scout tree and join the Pokeman Wars as a novice CH so i can have Fluffy too. Any thoughts?
