Thread: Focus on making Pistoleer better.

I've seen a lot of talk about "his weap is better", "Why can't I haveX weap",comparing us to other professsions.I think the grass is always gonna be greener on the other side of the fence. (this kind of talk doesn't help us or anyone else)


Instead, I think we should focus on how to make us better. I saw an excellent post (sorry, don't recall the name of person who posted) on this subject. In that spirit, I would suggest focus on the following:


1. How can we change the DX2 to make it a better weapon?


2. How will fixing pistol melee skill help round us out, and in what ways could this be modified to better benefit the class?


3. If not the DX2, what would we like to see in a weap cert obtained at master pistoleer, if any?


4. Are there any reasonable ideas of moves/skills that we could request to round us out?


Let's see if we can get constructive!

I'm wondering why we don't have a Laser pistol. There's a laser carbine and laser rifle, but no pistol. I for one would like the addition of more pistols for mastering the pistoleer proffession.

I'd like aDeath StarPistol, myself. Darth Vader has one... why can't I?


I think we should lobby to nerf Darth Vader, by the way.

I think the DX2, once better resources become available, will really be a sweet weapon. I've only got a mediocre one compared with my scout, but I'll still use it if the mob is armored with acid vunerabilities. I'm pretty sure they intentionally gave us a limited amount of pistols at launch for the purposes of keeping open the possibilies of adding more later. How boring would it be in 6 months if we had all weapons in the game at launch? Just a thought.
