Is it better to use Bodyshot in pvE instead of Fanshot or Stopping Shot since all the damage goes to the health pool and your not spreading it all over the monster which is a waste of time?

Just wondering.

Makes sense to me. Random damage is inefficient. I have BS3 but have nothing in stances/grips yet. It is my current goal.

Well, the problem with BS3 is that its slower and costs more than Fan Shot. Fan Shot may be random damage but its more efficient. The key here isn't to just spam one attack. I like to use BS3 to finish a critter off if in one final blast if their health pool drops enough, or for simple one shot kills on weaker critters.

Also, when grouping, its wise to consider who you are grouped with. If you have a lot of group members whose attacks target only the other pools, then a random pool damage attack might be the better choice because not as many people will be working the health pool.

Is there somewhere to find out the actual effects, delay etc. of different attacks? I've only been able to find the generic info along the lines of what it tells you in-game, which isn't much.

I'm seeing stopping shot hardly hit anything except health.

Hmmm, I've forgotten how to play.

I don't have bodyshot3, so my choices are fan shot vs bodyshot2. I've tried using both on harder mobs, and I've concluded that fan shot is the better choice. Yes, it seems inefficient, but for me, fan shot does double to triple the damage of bodyshot2 per hit, and it seems faster too. So I can take down both Health and Action in the same time it takes for me to kill Health using bodyshot2. And if you stack both bleeds, getting health down isn't too difficult.

after LOTS of testing, statistically "random" shots will hit Health about 50% of the time, Action about 35% of the time and Mind about 15% of the time, pretty consistently.

I kill things faster spamming BS2 than any other attack right now, by about 18%.
