Hello,

Why is it that pistoleers (ie me) dont get better pistol accuracy, pistol speed and anything pistol better than a bounty hunter. With pistoleerthe way it sits now its not really better than a bounty hunter going up just his pistol skill tree. It should be lots better as we have 4 branches in just pistol skills, but my best friend in game is a Bounty hunter and im a pistoleer half way thru it, yet his pistol speed and acuratcy is almost double of mine. Not only can he use a better gun the scatter pistol, but he has better stats too. Balanced Haha.

It is balanced... I wish people would understand why it is the way it is, but that's not going to happen. Instead of trying to make an intelligent post stating why a BH has and should have their pistol speed and accuracy higher, I'm just going to say this: Shut Up

Try looking at it another way: abounty hunter has to climb 8 skill trees (4 scout, 4 marksman) just to reach novice BH; a pistoleer has to climb one skill tree to be novice pistoleer. I do agree that pistoleers should get the best pistol, but I think bounty hunters should get a pistol available only to them that has an interesting effect or damage type or something. Theoretically, bounty hunters should be more about tricks, tactics, and options, whereas I think of pistoleers mainly as pure speed and damage dealing ( a.k.a. wild west gunfighters). Then again, opinions may vary. I'm not a bounty hunter or a pistoleer and am just browsing the profession forums to see how other professions are doing, so what do I know.

Im not saying that we should have the best pistol but seems to me if we have to climb 4 trees 4 skills wide we should have better stats than a bh that only has to go one tree of 4 skills to be better than a whole class.As for the BH above that told me to shut up. Man dont cry they already nerfed the hell outta Rangers i am one. It is in no way balanced add up the experience that a pistoleer needs to get the 16 skills in his tree then add up all of the skills you need to get master pistol in bh youll see there is a big diffrence. Dont cry to me till you read the numbers.

As Pistoleers we get a ton of defensive skills, we get pistol knockdowns (I believe all of the BH knockdowns are under carbine, could be wrong) And we get more TYPES of pistol accuracy/speed. We get pistol accuracy while standing/running. A BH doesn't get any of this, they only get pistol speed and accuracy.

As the other posters have mentioned it takes them 9 skills trees, 3 novice skills(36 skills), and 1240 aprentice xp to get to the best pistol skills they can. It takes a Pistoleer 5 trees, two novice skills(21 skills) and only 620 to get to our best pistol area. I don't think it is unfair.

Trust me don't bother, Pistoleers see it the pistoleer way, BHs see it the BH way. You're not going to convince anyone on either side to switch. All that happens is that 4 flame wars fire up, all the BHs show upin our forum, and the mods start locking threads.

It's not worth it.

You know, I';ve beaten this dead horse so many times. Offering positive and constructive insight into this subject. I've given time scales, and typed out pages and pages worth of information on this subject. I'm tired of it so ESD I will have to 150% agree with you since I too am sick of people browsing the BH skill tree with a calculator, getting all upset that BH has good skills and crying, instead of trying to get to BH and at least go up the BH pistol line they come here to cry so on that note ...

All im saying is that a master bh can get 60 acc and 50 speed for pistol while a master pistoleer can only get 45 acc and 49 speed can you idiots add or what.
