Hey guys and gals,

Just wondering since I am going TKA (and it's a lot of carnagealong the way) What are some of the pros and cons of going pistoleer over one of the other brawler choices (sword, fencer, pike). I have some pistol experience and was considering going this route after my tka. Any notes would be useful.

Having a ranged attack to go along with TKA does have it's benefits. Having 2 melee attacks seems to me to have less value. A buddy of mine was TKA for awhile and picked up Pistoleer and the DF line from Smuggler. When engaging in PvP he would Low Blow and Panic Shot his target then close in to TKA range while they were still laying on the ground. Lay dizzy on them and proceed to stomp them.

I am both pistoleer and swordsman, and with both you have ranged and melee mitigation which is great. I also do have dirty fighting, and as stated before i would use lowblow, panic shot and then pull out the hammer and headhit em to death. It's pretty tough if your on a huge raid and your getting shot from 30 to 60 meters out and are pure melee.
