Yes thats right.. im a bounty hunter.. (I still dont know why I keep the worthless always broken profession) and a master pistoleer.
Thought I would let you guys know that pistol melee defense 1 is broke now.. You can no longer KD.. I think publish 10 broke more things than it helped for me by A LOT!

are you sure? i was knocking dashers down wednesday night, although i did notice a lot of fails
what were you attacking? maybe the chance to knock down was significantly reduced?
if this is the case, i wonder what other knockdown attacks have suffered. if it's not the same, i'll be deeply pissed off with my ONE working special left

I was fighting some giant biz natch's and i defeated one with nothing but pistolmeleedefense2 and he didnt get knocked down the entire fight. So, based of that id say its not working, but i havent done any actual testing on it.

pistolmeleedefense2 is know to be buggy and such but pistolmeleedefence1 should hopefully still work. I usually use low blow from smuggler but still.

Now that would be great, instead of fixing one of the many broken, they break one of the last two working. Please say this was just a misunderstanding...it seems it's getting harder every day to hold on to our professions.

it still works cause i knocked down alot after the patch
I also don't notice a decrease in % to knockdown

PMD1 is not broken; I, like many others, have used it multiple times since Publish 10 and it works just fine. There isn't even a reduced KD % that I can tell.

it still works... though I have noticed it work a lot ... less well? ie: I can no longer knock down jantas/mokks very often (maybe 1 in 10).. rancors and larger/harder creatures .. don't even bother trying because it's a complete fluke when it succeeds..
but I can still kd tusken commoners fine (but again, the harder the tusken, the more and more useless it becomes - as it should be I guess - but then again.. pmd2 should also work

PistolMeleeDefense 2 has never knocked down the target... it is just a melee attack.

Actually it's a ranged attack that you can only use in close-quarters. It should be a melee attack, but since you have a ranged weapon equipped the game considers it a ranged attack, which means it can be blocked by Jedi too.

I'm sorry but I have Pistoleer and Creature Handler so I'm buggier.

I'm sorry but I have Pistoleer and Creature Handler so I'm buggier.
I'm a Pistoleer and a Smuggler; I'm half buggy and half wishing I could actually Smuggle like my profession implies
