I want to pick up a good pvp pistol for the Bloodfin server war coming up ina week and a half. I dont want to spend over a million credits though. What is the best I can get for under a mil? Thanks.

You should try asking under the bloodfin trade forums, you probably will not get a response here. Also what do you mean by best pistol? Are you a bounty hunter, if so you could get a decent scatter for under 1 million. If your a pistoleer you could find a decent Geo blaster or perhaps a Dx2 for under a mil. Check the Bloodfin trade forums for pistol sales and make bids on them. Thats your best bet for getting yourself a decent pistol.

First, try the trade forums.

Second, try collecting your own components so you won't have to pay out the **edit**. Granted, you might need a couple buddies on your side to take out a Krayt for tissues (and it can be long, boring, and unsucessful hunting at times). Read the weaponsmith forums for the sticky with all the components. So, for instance if you can provide your own DE-10 schematic, barrel, and tissues you can generally get it assembled for a small fee.

I'm a pistoleer. I just wanted an idea of what I should spend my money on, so I don't waste my money on the wrong pistol. I'm sure there are plenty of people on the Bloodfin boards who would gladly sell me a pistol for a mil, I just wanna make sure I spend wisely. Any idea of what kind of stats I should look for on a geo or dx2?

well considering psg's are vulnerable to acid , having a good acid base damage weapon is always good. Genosian blasters are probably the best option if your opponents don't have high stun armor. In case they are stun armored, I would use a dx2/scatter or a really high damage de-10 ( but a good de-10 will cost much more than 1 million)

I have used geoblasters for PvP quite a lot but lately I have shifted to Scatters since PSGs and Stun armor have become common. You'll get a Scatter with a lesser Krayt Tissue (max.dam ~210) for 300k on my server, if it has got a good damage slice the price goes up to around one million.
