MCPrimetime - PLEASE tell me you will be applying for pistoleer correspondent.
As someone who has read a lot of your posts you might be a good person to try and fill Randonb's shoes

Appreciate the vote guys, but I dont have the time to put in the 100% that you guys need from this position. I will help the community with questions and whatever else they may need, but unfortunately this comes at a very busy time for me.

yah, primetime, you would be the best bet by far
freaking congrats though, real life should always take precedence, man, and a baby's a darn good reason to be too busy lol
what's great about the pistoleer community though is that we will definately find someone to fill randon's shoes, and we will definately have a lot of people to help him or her through the coming changes

He would be good at the job though but his wife barely lets him play now.
Hey, you have time to waste when you arent running from hurricanes. Why don't you apply?

Hehe, well if you aren't applying MC (being the obvious canidate) I've tossed my name into the pot. I've got two threads in the stickied link so we'll see what happens. Randonb's left some mighty big shoes to fill, so whoever does get the spot has thier work cut out for them.

good...i would really hope we can keep a PvP focus for pistoleers...that is where we are getting screwed the worst.

Agreed. Hopefully a lot will change in the combat revamp. Right now it seems our biggest weakness is the inability to hit the mind pool. Any profession that can't is already handicapped. That will change in the revamp though when the mind pool likely becomes healable.
Our lack of an AP2 weapon hurts some too, but I am guessing that we will not be getting that anytime soon (if ever) since it seems they are positioning us to be the mobile attack on the run type of class.
Another thing is whoever becomes the new correspondent needs to focus on this profession alone. What I mean by that is all too often people on these boards don't think of pistoleer alone, but always paired with something like BH, smuggler, or commando. This should not be a "complementary" profession, but should be able to stand on it's own merits
Heh enough venting

LOL cos even tho I don't care about people I care just enough to be honest that I would do a piss poor job as correspondent.Plus the profession forums annoy me. For every sensible post there are 20 absolute .....well you know.

I am sure your hands will be full for quite some time hehe
Some good points there, just wanted to chime in on AP2. It would be quite useful to get but I'm not seeing it happening either since Pistol(AP1) -> Carbines(AP2) -> Rifles(AP3) seems to be the basic guideline. If we actually had access to all of the damage types the calls for AP2 would probably be greatly reduced. Too bad the DE-10 didn't turn out to be cold with the pretty blue bolts.
