For those of you woundering what yellow barrels actually do, I just made 3( 2 of them with indenticle tissues, the other 2 dam difference).

Compared to a reg barrel which i made not long ago using base tissues, i caculated the difference in tssues with the yellow barrels and found one of them with 20 max damage more, another with 25 max damage and the 3rd had 10% more wound.

This is not to say that all yellow barrels will give you one of these enhancements but just proof to let you know they will actually enhance something.

i ran a survey in the weaponsmith forums when the DWB first went live, and since, inmy own experience, with no tissue and white barrels, and assuming all great successes, etc. the DE-10's come out consistantly at 4.2 speed 261 max with valcyn resources.

In my experience yellows seem to have potential effect on one or more of the following

wound

range

(ive heard speed but ive yet to havea speed barrelmyself and ive gone though about 8 yellows)

i've been thorugh over 20 DE-10's.

(i have a 12 pt master weaponsmith alt and ive also had my friend make me a few as well.)
