I am a MCH with some pistol skills, today I decided to drop my ranger tracking ability and pick up some more pistol skills, specificly, Grips 4. I was so looking forward to pointblankarea2. I use the first one quite often and was hyped up about the extra damage I would dish out. Then I noticed that it wasnt doing the area effect, disappointing to say the least. So I tested it out a few more times, then did a bug report before the server went down, hoping that it was just a temporary thing and would work fine when I next logged on.

I figure Ill do a search, find out if this is a known issue, and what the deal is. The first thread I look at is a pistoleers issue thread, with the same complaint dated July 13, 2003. Broken for over a year. My stomach turned inside out, and I once again felt the extreme hopelessness that led me to quit the first time. Im sure this issue isnt new to most of you, I just dont get it, and felt like posting about it.

Why oh why, devs, cant you fix the obvious stuff?

Yup, out of three masters I have, two are desperatly broken (Smuggler and Pistoleer) and have been ignored for over a year. Why do I keep them? Maybe I'm just stubborn, it took me long enough to drop CH after it got changed and then the combat revamp didn't come..

I do want my DE10's though, even if its just for the look. I wish my weaponsmith would hurry up..

SOE is a joke. i bought this game when it came out, and I understand that every mmorpg has it's issues/bugs. But most decide to actually FIX them. These devs are either just too lazy getting off to pictures of in-game dancers, or there just too retarded to actually fix things. I personally feel it's lightsaber envy. We have seen the introduction and advancement of jedi, but many issues that have been problems since launch have yet to be fixed.

lol whoever 1starred me, um, thats the harsh truth. really theres no reason for these specials to still be bugged. I mean they just fixed some of the tailor problems last month, and still belts look like hula hoops. I'm not bashing the devs or whatever, but they have done a pisspoor job at dealing with issues and the way they treat there customers. It has been over a year now and i have seen/heard NOTHING about pistoleer issues being fixed. I pay 15bucks a month and in my opinion, thats poor customer service and just a plain joke.

Yeah, I must be stubborn too... I'm going back up the pistol tree again..... Started pistol/rangering way back on the first day the servers finally came up and finally went TKM so I could feel like i was actually doing something. Well, I missed my Gunslinging Days.

That is sad news about point blank area 2. I was thinking of going up that tree first. hrmmm.

I do see the pistol forums haven't changed much.
