If you can't reach 125 dodge, that Piketta Pia is awesome to use for that reason.

I have another question on dodge skill from pistoleer tree: does this dodge work only when you have pistol weapon equipped? Or does it work just like a food dodge, for any weapon?

As far as I know, dodge works all together, just like a def stacker, if someone adds pistoleer to TKM/Master Fencer. They will still get dodge and all the def vs KD/Dizzy/Posture Change. I think it only applys when the weapon is in front of the name of the skill, other than that I believe it's universal

Do you have Defensive Accuity in your template? Because Def Acc is the special ability that lets the TKA Dodge, Counterattack, or Block, based on whichever is highest from another profession, I believe. So, if you have +105 Dodge (Master Pistoleer), and the Defensive Accuity skill, having a higher Def Accuity will actually cause you to Dodge every now and then, even without having a Pistol equiped.
I'm not 100% sure about this, though, so can someone shed any more light?

i have 105 Dodge and 71 Defence Acc and i don't dodge. Now the only testing i've done has been against TKM's so that could mess things up...
I also have 129 Melee D and those bastards still don't miss once... i think during the test they attacked me 20 times each without missing once or me dodging/evading/etc. GRRRRR but that's another topic.

Even witha maxed Dodge mod, you'll still get hit more often than not. It's a reality of the way this game works. Expect to get hit every time, and when you don't, it's a bonus.
