Thread: Novice Pistoler needs a guild!!!!!

Anyone on the eclipse server that reads this and need people for there guild i really need one badly...
who besides me wants this war to be over i am doing what i can to make the right people win but since the war started i can not do the stuff i wanted to do with out being attacked and jumped my (IMPS,IMPS,IMPS and more IMPS) i am not a rebal but i enjoy fighting for them.... When this war is over i am going to take the biggest dump and fall asleep and think what just happened was a really long dream.... Which this brings me to my first question how come i can kill IMPS that con red to me and not be able to kill other things that con red to me with out a buff?What is up with all of NPC BOUNTY HUNTERS following me all of the time? They know that they can not kill me so why even try!!!!! Thankfully we now have tooltips when you hover your mouse over the radar though, which is to be improved in the next patch.
Some things that Con red really shouldnt, like the sand troopers in Bestine... why something a pistoleer can kill in four or five shots cons red I dont know...
I think what you are talking about is the differing scale of things that con red... its too wide a range at the moment, I feel. But perhaps this is a sign of things to come, when con red mobs really will be instant death after the CU.
I completely agree with you BadgerSmaker! This is something I have been thinking about a lot lately. It seems that most things that con red to me now that I encounter in my everyday activities (as opposed to high-end mobs that I seek out because I know they are tough) are incredibly easy to kill. I just assumed that it's because I have become harder to kill myself lately (better armor and weapons, FS defensive mods, etc), but in my opinion as my character becomes more powerful, the con level should change for any given mob. Things shouldn't con red unless chances areexcellent that it is going to kill you in whatever your current state is (including buffs). If I take off my armor, a yellow-conning mob should change to red, for example, to reflect my actual chances of surviving a fight with that mob. So I don't really pay attention to cons anymore, except to occasionally think "hmmm..red dot... maybe it will give me more XP for FS."). A red dot should really make a player stop and think about attacking a mob solo. It doesn't do that for me anymore.
