Thread: having extremely hard time grinding

Hey people 
, ive been playing this game say o aobuta year, master swords on bria, di most of bh on chimera, but ive been playing on starsider for the longest by far. ive dabbled in smuggler(droped), medic, artistan, scout, armorsmiht ect. ive been doing pistols from the begining though. i am having the hardest time grinding, im only at 1131. i can only be on for about 4 hours per day on weekends, and ive been grinding for ahwile. so now to my question. How the hek can i speed this up?????? im killing pickets, quenercker, sometimes mokk, and its going painstakinly slow. i mean ive seen noobs grow up to master pistolers before me nad i have no idea how its happening. i try taking on better mobs such as like at the blue leaf temple ect but hen i get 1000000 of them attacking me and i die. ive got really nice some (80% base) but i feel like im jsut wasting condition. Got any sggestion how i can get hte most out of my 4 hours ? thats a total of 8 per week if your counting. now that i have stopping shot is goinga bit faster, but still.

get 1141 then you will have fan shot then you can spam that and hit muti-targets every shot
xp will then be 3-4 times quicker

I MASTERED PISTOLS IN 3 OR 4 BUFFS ALL I DID WAS WENT TO THE SQUILL CAVE (PIKET MISSIONS WORK JUST AS WELL) and i use a macro to do point blank area 1 (point blank area 2 is broke) i also used a 380 max geo for the grind once i got tech 2 that helps it also but any good dx2 should work fine.

NPCs on Lok are surprisingly good exp to grind with. You can often find them in groups of 6 and they will respawn 3 times.

I go to Yavin. Pretty much everything there gives between 2.5 - 4k of xp and everything seems to die really fast. I just walk the beach looking for black suns for the bounty hunter armour and get pistol xp as a bonus. I only get on for a couple of hours a night( my buffs never run out ), but I can do a box a night with not even noticing.

Well first thing is to go ahead and get master marksman the extrra +10 accuracy and +5 Speed are worth it in the short term.
And if your current template will allow it, get novice scout and the explore line and go Bounty Hunter and go up the pistol line along with novice Pistoleer. That will get you to +115 Accuracy and +85 Speed. Then just use your combat xp to go up the Pistol Special Abilities as you get it which will also add more speed.
Good place to go until you get BH pistols 3, is the Sennex Cave on Tatooine (Part of the Hero of Tatooine quest) it has a decent respawn rate and you can get a box or two of xp per buff session. Just take a DX2 or Republic Blaster with you, since these mobs are Acid vulnerable. Then for BH Pistols 4 and beyond Fort Tuskan is a very good place to level up. I made 500k in xp in about 2 hours there.

where on yavin do the black sun guys usually spawn? and what is a good gun to use against them

Definitely group, but yes you can/should be able to do all this stuff solo. Having someone else aroundshooting at stuffonly decreases your xp/hour. Also if you have a Master Pistoleer or Bounty Hunter willing to come along with you, to train you, then it can go very quickly; 'cause you don't have to make the long trips to a npc trainer.

I just took up pistols on friday and I'm now 2/3/3/4, thanks to Yavin. The Blueleaf temple is a great source of xp, but then so is just wandering about. I'm making a minimum of 600k xp per buff sessions (last night I made 600k and logged with an hour and a half left on buffs) and I'm gathering loads of hide and meat. Most if not all klikniks are stun vulnerable, so I'm using a 1.8 speed 300 or so damage geo blaster, and I've been cutting one hell of a destructive path across the planet.
