I am here in hopes of helping out a pistoleer and of course to make a few credits in the process.
I recently had 2 DE-10s made and have to put my ADK on one of the new ones.
However I don't want to destroy the old DE-10 and posted a thread on the Eclipse Trade Forums to trade my old
DE-10 and ADK for another ADK. You would get an ADK DE-10 and I would get your ADK and maybe a few credits kicked in or something else in trade.
My DE-10 ADK'd is 146-371 damage 169-494 pupped
speed is 2.9 Wound chance is 51.5% and HAM is 33 64 33 Ideal range is +51
My ingame name is Sicarius I work 2nd shift Central time.
I am posting this here hoping that others in my situation would do the same trade your old to someone who can use it rather than destroy it. Thanks

Just destroy your old one if your new one is better. I do that to mine everytime I manage to upgrade it.
Rather than look upon the old gun fondly it's more of "Ok, so why didn't you have this kind of damage range in the first place?" *DESTROY*
Nice idea for a trade though, you could probably leave the offer open until your new DE-10 needs a repair then you'll just have to get the kit back.

/agree. I do that too, with stuff I have an ADK attached to.
I've been getting nervous about my lootedgun-destroying habits lately though. I've been looting so many crappy useless pistols lately (from faction NPCs) that after an hour or so of looting, I just start going through all the pistols accumulated in my inventory and deleting them one by one (after checking them all first to make sure I didn't loot any good DoT pistols). I delete them all so mindlessly (especially when I'm sleepy) that I'm afraid I might accidentally delete my ADK DE-10 one of these days if I'm not careful about where I'm clicking! I'm deleting so many of them so quickly that I don't even pay attention to the confirmation dialog ("are you sure you want to delete...").

Can sometimes be safer to bank/store the ones you want to keep then go to a junk dealer and sell all.
He clears your inventory very professionally and pays you for the service.

Hmmm, it never even occurred tome to keep all these useless pistols and sell them to a junk dealer! Thanks for the idea. I usually feel the need to delete them as I'm fighting though, because my inventory quickly fills up with too much junk and then I have no room for the rare piece of good loot that comes along. I can't even remember the last time I looted a pistol worth keeping.

690 unpuped, now that is a mighty de-10, since it will do 924 with pup. Also itmust have been atleast 515 max dam before slice. Now thathave been a luckyday to say the least, hitting a really good YT barrel on a de-10 with, what must have beenlegendary tissue and then a really good slice (breakpoint for 690 unpuped would be 515 with a 34% dam slice). Always nice to see a monster, especially when the highest I have held in my hand was 501maxdampreslice made with 224 tisse. Nice.

Well, the DE-10 as far as a weapon has been my passion. The YT barrels can fluctuate alot, and as far as me & the WSthat has built all but one of my DE-10's, the diffrence between a good and a bad YT can be around 100 dampoints, and possible a little more. The DE-10's that was built with 223 tissue on Eclipse both came out as max dam 501 preslice, which indicates they hit above average barrels (3 of my 123 tissue came out 398,398,444 and the 398 ones quite possibly had gotten the WORST kind of yt barrels). If the above 224 tissue DE-10's would have been made with 290-300 tissue (which to my knowledge atleast is the highest tissues droped on all servers) and hitting roughly the same pipes would give a 570-580 max dam before slice.
The maximum damage WITH the highest slice possible, a 34% slice would set it at 763 - 777 before pup and 1014 - 1033 which SHOULD be the roof as far damage goes on DE-10's. Theseguns are possible,just unlikely. Iconsider my own gun being the subject of alot of luck, hitting a good barrel, having good (not "great") tissue and most importantly,hittinga 32% damslice.
As far as I know, my DE-10 might be a top 3 gun of eclipse,seeing that there is a 800+ and a 917+ one, but I am still very satisfied with my 780 (with 33 pup, 776 with 32.5) and I have turned down alot of sales offers. I will do a try for 800+ someday,might happen before the CU, it might not.Besides the CU leaves one questionmark hanging in the air: What will happen to our guns we (well atleast I) have spent 100's of ours aquering parts& had several failures before getting one we want to keep?
Quite possible, the CU canbe the end of "uber" de-10's :/

Yeah, I have been wondering the same thing lately. I hope my DE-10 doesn't just become "ordinary" after the CU. If it does, then I'll have to destroy it to recover the ADK I put on it. As for what will happen to pistols after the CU, who knows, but to paraphrase something one of the devs said a while back (I'm just quoting this from memory), "If you have a good weapon, it will still be good after the CU--just not off the scale."

An uber weapon will still be uber after the CU, the definition of an uber weapon is what will change.
