Thread: Best Non-DE 10 Pistol for Damage and Range

Hi guys,

Im a MBH whose main weapon is a laser carbine, but I also would like a high damage pistol that has decent accruacy mods at range. I am no longer a MP so a DE10 is no good for me. I have MBH and Pistols 0040. The geo seems nice but the range is not so good with 48m max. Any suggestions? Thanks!

i use the geo because of stun but other wise probably republic blaster but you have to look for a really good one and get a good slice

for npc's its probably gonna be the geo, but I have seen 500+ mx dmg mod. republic blasters.

A nice Krayted DX2 may be worth a look.

Any pistol with a nice damaeg slice and a nice Krayt tissue. ...Oh and an ADK.

I think I'd give the Cdef, DL44, Metal DL44, Tangle, DH17, D18, Power5 andSR combat pistols a miss though.

dx2 is comparable in power to the scatter, has a lower min normally but a higher max, however it is by far more accurate. dx2 will get hurt more by migration and it takes more tissues than the scatter so you are probably better off sticking with your krayted scatter. carrying a geo is of course a given because how else would you get stun damage?

I use a republic blaster for long range and dx2 for short range. I'll also use the geo for short range, it just depends on what noise I want coming out of my speakers.

For all out damage (non de10) best bet is prob a Krayt Republic Blaster or a Krayt Scatter. The Scatter would prob be the way to go if your fighting opponents with ranged mitigation 3. The Scatter's min/max damage totals are far closertogether than the rep blasters which can make a huge difference with the mitigation factor.
