Thread: A hard choice, and I realy nead some advice.

Hi all,
Ok here's my dilemma i've been a TKM for over a year now and am thinking of a change, now I am very reluctant to just drop TKM and move into the full pistol thing hardcore, so I settled on a template of TKM/M Pistoleer and smuggler pistols, but after reading other posts i'm thinking maybe taking BH pistols and totally dropping TKM may be better. The trouble i'm having is that I know how to PvP as a TKM, and I don't have a clue as a Pistoleer.
Basically what I'm asking is would TKM, M Pistols and Smuggler Pistols be sufficient, or is the BH pistol line really that important?

the BH pistols offers the only mind specific hit for pistoleers...it works wonders in thatregard with a geo although smuggler is a nice complemnt to it i would say get the BH tree and fiddle around with it kee[ as much TK as you can incase tho. its fun to PvP with it but without it theres not much you can do

A master pistoleer/master BH is kind of like a fencer, with a little less defense and a little more offense. I PvP pretty darn well with that template, but have seen guys do a lot better than I do with Master Pistols/Desperado/Rogue and some nice krayt weapons.

BH pistols has more speed and accy in it than all of the pistoleer tree as well as a random pool DOT, targeted mind hit and health burn. It is prolly the strongest single pistols line in the game.
If you really like TKM consider the 3ple threat build, TKM/Mpistols/Msmuggler. If you find you are leaing more to the pistols side of things you can always start trading your TKM and/or unused smuggler for BH later on.

A BIG thankyou all for the advice, i finaly did it last night and made the decission to go TKM/Master Pitols/Master Smuggler.
Fingers crossed I should like it, I got master pistols now just gotta get master smuggler.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the template one of the Devs plays with his live character. It's probably not the most powerfully stacked template, but used to be extremely popular and has always sounded like a fun template to me. Good luck!

I've done it it's a real fun template. A really good stacked TKM with range andmelee mitigation 3, awesome pistol specials but a little slow if you're not speed capped.
One issue is that this leaves very few skillpoints so no medic
You can do someting like smuggler 0040 instead and put the spare points into medic 0040 or a bit of fencer or something
