Thread: How common are mind poison pistols?

Last night I looted three mind poison guns. (2 pistols and a carbine)
SR combat pistol with 180 mind poison
DL-44 with 108 Mind poison
and ee3 carbine with 162 mind poison
I've never looted any mind poison guns before so I was a bit surprised.Unfortuanetly, the DL-44 only has like 96 charges so I put it up for sale. The other two weaponshave appx. 4000 charges.
So are these very rare or becomming more common these days?

You got some nice drops really. what was the potency on them as that tells you how often the poison will actually stick... if it's something low like 3% then the gun is pretty useless for a DoT weapon.

If the potency is high (60%+) then these are awesome!
If not, they are still pretty nice - I've never seen someone loot three DOT guns like that in a short period, so you have been pretty lucky! 
(P.S. How is life back on Naritus? I left to join Bria ages ago and don't hear much about Naritus these days. What is the latest gossip?)

I'll have to look at the potency later. I've never paid that much attention to that before. As far as how is Naritus? It's always been my home and seems like a great place to stay. There are many vendors, good people, new guys still coming on board from time to time, the economy....although a bit inflated for my taste, still seems to be working. (i.e. I ain't broke).

I looted a cdef pistol with mind fire
1 str
10 dur
3% pot
-1 uses
A real keeper 
I do loot a lot of pistols with mind dots, but they're all pretty crappy. The ones you posted look pretty nice. I'd say they're definitely more rare than, say, mind dot lances

where do you loot them from? i got a 170 mind poison ee3 from a stormcommando guy.

I get em from reb. npcs alot but alot of the time they suck .

Dont most all npc's have a chance to drop a dot wepon? From what I've herd it differs from server to server so you should more then likely put this on your server fourm... all we can tell you here is how common they are on our servers.

I seem to loot em off Storm Troopers, but that's pretty much the only thing I ever kill, besides Jedi

That's what makes it priceless it's a prenerf -1 mind fire pistol
