Thread: Fan Shot question

How does it work..I use it on people and it hits them and the stuff behind it..sometimes..but sometimes doesn't. Is there a way you need to be standing or something?
Basically, I need to know how to use fan shot...

When you use fanshot, it fires in a cone in the direction you're firing ( I'm not sure, but I think the cone is a 45 degree angle, with your target being at the half way point of the angle ) . So if you imagine a straight line being drawn between you and your target, and then two lines coming from either side at 22.5 degree angles each, that's what you can expect to hit.


Also, I think there is a bug with fanshot where it will not do damage to enemies that aren't aggroed yet. So, if you fire fanshot at a group of enemies, it will damage the enemy you have targeted, aggro the rest ( without doing damage to them ) , and then your next fanshot will damage all of them.
