Over the last few days i've been reading the threads and seeing alot of interesting templates because of the BH changes. Are the benefits of getting the Bh pistols tree that good?

The template i want to try is Mpistols Mpikeman Smuggler 0040 TK4300

I think that even without the BH pistols line this build should provide alot of flexibility - health shot 1 and 2 stacked with a DOT pike and then feign death, mobs will kill themselves and then i meditate back to full health
