I have only 1 Pistoleer friend and I want a wider audience to ask so here be I:
Do you fellows care about the HAM costs of your guns?
I currently have a load of Spider Fangs and other Projectile Feed Mechanism ehancers that I'm looking to use in a batch of FWG5's, my question to you would be: Do you prefer high "to hit" modifers at the expense of higher HAM costs (+73 to hit @20m with HAM of 32/58/39), or about 16 less to hit bonus with -10 to all HAM costs?
Thanks in advance

In my experience as WS and Pistoleer, most people are buffed and don't care about HAM costs these days.
Once the mythological "combat rebalance" comes through that may all change.

Thanks for asking - right now HAM costs are important since we tend to have to spam specials to do any sort of reasonable damage.
Bear in mind however that the often quoted and possibly mythical 'Combat Balance' info so far suggests specials will be a far less frequently used tool and that accuracy is also being redone so that there's a greater chance of almost everyone missing.
This would lead me to believe that overall accuracy is going to become more important than HAM costs post CB.
That's my tuppence worth anyway.

The spammage of specials was indeed why I asked. I'm a Master Heavy Swordsman and I spam specials All day long (Or at least untill my mind is gone and there's no more room in my belly for buffs). The combat balance is at least 2 publishes away, so will a weapon in constant use spamming specials away, probably with a power-up which triples decay rate even last that long and so therefor does it matter if I craft them with higher HAMS?
