Thread: Dodge Effectiveness Reduced?

I was running combat tests over the past week and found that my tests done this weekend demonstrated a possible reduction in the effectiveness of Dodge. I was dodging far less frequently for some reason. Was there a nerf?

HI there. The great fencer correspondant said this:


  • There has been no change to Dodge: A recent patch changed the ACCURACY of mobs, some more than an additional +60 over what they previously had, making it appear that your Dodge is weaker.

    Actually, my tests were done against another player AFTER the date the fencer correspondent posted. The reduction I was looking at occurred between Monday and Saturday of this past week.


    Basically, I went from dodging about 22.14% of every shot from a blaster that would have otherwise hit me on Monday down to 11.36% on Saturday.

    Yeah, he did. Some people care about thier game. By the way telling people to get a life with no basis is useless, go flame elsewhere where it is needed.

    You make me laugh Mr. "Get a life" who just happens to have 700+ posts. Also, it isn't that hard to count how many times you dodge, go to the combat tab in your chat window and you can see.

    Thank you for that post. Very friendly. FYI each test took about 20 minutes AFK with about 5 minutes of actual counting time. The reason I did it was to get a sense, both for me and for others, of how to build the most effective combo-class character at this time.
