I wanted to start a character utilizing pistoleer and dirty fighting or TKA or whichever. I just wanted to know what are the best combinations of skills to get the most effective PvE and PvP character you can get.

First off, are you THE Yojimbo from KoS Chilastra? And here is my answer:
Here is my Guide to World Domination.
The current, almost self reliant, template is Master Pistoleer, Master TKA, Smuggler DF, Medic 2-0-0-0, and Scout 3-0-0-0. Here is why...
The defense of pistoleer alone power up the TKA to a new level. Lets review,
Pistoleer gives...
+105 Dodge
+45 Melee Defense
+5 Ranged Defense
+40 vs Stun
+40 vs Blind
+40 vs Dizzy
+20 vs Posture Change
+50 vs Knockdown
Except for dodge, its all beautiful defense mods to the TKAs, which have
+55 Combat Equilibruim (a mod that if a TKA falls down, he gets back up faster than normal)
+60 Melee Defense
+45 Ranged Defense
+10 vs Blind
+30 vs Posture Change
+15 vs Stun
+5 vs Dizzy
+20 vs Knockdown
+96 Defense Acuity (a mod that lets a TKA dodge and counter and block, currently bugged)
+100 Meditation
So, if I get KD, defense have to go through my Def. vs KD, then vs Posture Change, and if the TKA falls, Combat Equilbruim will let you get up fast like Rob Van Dam. Now, PvE time
In PvE, expect 10 hits from mobs to hit only once or twice. So out of 100 hits, you'll get hit by 10 times, in theory, but you will notice damage is reduced and usually missed. Even against nightsisters. (But dont get cocky, force chokes and force drain kill)
Now, time for world domination
PvP. For those who enjoy it. I will say it now, the only use 2 attacks I use from pistoleer is health shot 2 and fanshot. Pistoleer specials are mainly crap.
"But what about stopping shot??"
Forget stopping shot, your goal is world domination. Thats why you picked up smuggler.
"What about slicing, spices, and whatnot?"
Ha, your joking right? let some other chump do that for you.
"So what do I do?"
Best question I heard so far, you want to use these attacks, Fanshot, Last Ditch, Lowblow and Panic Shot. Panic Shot is crowd Control for 10 seconds, and death follows after 4 seconds in largesclare PvP. Now you have a tool to abuse. Now, you want to take out targets from far away, then do Lowblow, Panic Shot (they will say on the floor for 5-10 seconds if KD) and Last Ditch away. If you see any medics, do this ASAP, and they will hate you.
"Wait, dont I have TKA also?"
O yes, TKA is awesome. But round 1 is range attacks. Round 2 is when everyone is in the middle fighting Braveheart style. Here is where you want to show off. You see a commando torching your friends, Macro Unarmed Knockdown 2 followed by 3 unarmed hit 3. Its saves time, and if they are still alive, use unarmedhit3 over and over (not my fault if they cant get up.) Do the same to all enemies, but watch out for the master brawlers.
"NO!! They are KD but dont have Dizzy!!"
Quick, hit clear and spam dizzy ASAP
"What if I fight another TKA??"
Here is where your chum Master Smugglers and Best friend thats a chef come into play (hey, this is world domination here, hate all, but pay good) You want to hotkey many food. Here are my choices, but personal style may change that:
Breath of Heaven (spammage, gotta love it)
Ice Blaster (regens mind)
Glazed Glucose Pate and Bivoli (+450 mind food each that can stack the first time)
Flameout (+1000 HP)
Ok, now spices...
There are only two you should buy, and be used ONLY IF you cannot consume any of the above, and should only be used when your mind is really low.
Nuetron Pixie
Muon Gold
Now, you are facing a fellow TKA. Its always best to assume he is better than you, so put on your VK, and start fighting to the death, twice. Yes, remember, he is a TKA, meaning he has two lives like you due to FoW, 3 if he is a Zabrak. When he gets incapped, Run away and start kitting from a distance with those o so sweet Pistol skills you got.
"What should I use when I am in a raid and inside enemy bases??"
Spam the TKA macro you did. TKAs are able to say I can wipe you faster than you can do a /declare inside the base.
"I keep dying to other classes"
Thats good. Stay away from them until you learn thier weakness. Study all classes, and spread the knowledge to fellow friends.
"Help I am mind poisoned!!"
HAHA, CMs wasted one on you? In large scale PvP, you want to win, not die. So go hide somewhere and meditate it away. Some may call you a coward, but you'll be the one alive killing more people. This is world domination, hide when needed.
"I have 0 mind left after I am done!"
HAHA, this is why you have Mind food, Iceblaster, and Muon Gold. Also, if you are buffed and have Force of Will (FoW) ready, and get incapped, theres a HIGH change you get a huge mind heal when you get back up and finish the guy with those o so fine TKA skills.
"Crap, I died"
It happens.
"I want revenge"
Well if you want revenge, go clone. Ride back. Demand buffs. Eat 2 Bivolis, and a Nuetron Pixie and a Breath of Heaven. That should give revenge power for 10 min.
"I AM ON FIRE"
Yeah, just kill the guy, hide, heal, heal, heal, heal, heal, find water, then meditate those wounds away. If you on Tatooine, have a doc friend heal you as well.
"Dueling"
You can duel and expect to both win and lose, and lose often. When dueling, everyone has rules. Some say no armor and food and buffs and you get wasted. And the also say no, stand 40 meters. Dueling is fun, but its nowhere near as close as true PvP
"Any tips on certain classes?"
You want to know your enemy, so keep a notebook near you with names, or use the ingame /notepad for these notes. Afterthat, here are some easy tips.
Bounty Hunters are easy to beat IF they are unbuffed. They fall fast to the last ditch. (Han Solo beat Boba Fett when it mattered, and several more times in the EU) If they are buffed, you got two option, if they are 20m to you, use TKA. If not, run backwards, yes. Have them chase you. Apply bleeds, they can shoot anything while moving.
The Dabbler BH/Pistoleer combo. Odds are more in his favor, so just run up to him and spam bleeds, lowblow, dizzy, whatnots. Go on a frenzy. Shout if you want. Eat spice and foods and just keep at it. A player using this combo is rarely able to heal and even worse and healing poison.
Rifleman hit hard and fast. Just use low blow and panic shot, but some bleeds and kill him. You have a better chance of killing him with TKA. Put on your VKs, and SPAM unarmed head hit 1. It will give him massive wounds and even if you fall, you have ruined the number of times he is able to fire.
Commandos are the easiest to kill. Just stand back and fire away.
Carbineers with a lot of HAM spamming chargeshot1 is annoying. If able, do a /follow and take the damage unarmed (better miss rate). Sooner or later you'll catch up to him and beat the crap out of him.
Combat Medics pop fast. Kill him them and then go meditate.
"Anything else?"
Enjoy the massive power that come with world domination. And also where some good comp, and when not pvp'ing, go make cash. Armor and Food and Pistols don't come cheap.
