Pistoleer Archive
Thread: It is time!!!
we'd have to find some trick that all the TKM/Riflemen have yet to find. a suped-up pistoleer isn't as good as a suped-up rifleman, by any means.
howabout we attatch crystals and krayt pearls to our pistols? we'll be shooting lightsaber bolts!
agh, if only...![]()
/pistolthrow1
This skill allows the pistoleer to throw his weapon as a projectile at his opponent when he realizes how comparatively useless it is to other ranged weapons. May inflict Dizzy.
Guys:
With a good Geno Pistol we can do nicely in PvP especially with some limited defensive stacking.

lol...
There's no other response that I can think of dignifiying that with.
As to the falling apart pistol, I think that has a chance! my only gripe would be your hiding position for the secondary pistol.
On a more sombre note, I find the best way to PvP is to stand behind a large grouping of fellow rebels, popping out to pistol melee1 the occasional carbineer. This rarely results in my death and as such is better than just about every other PvP encounter.
Here is my suggestions as a Master Pistoleer when in PvP.
First get Rouge Tree in Smuggler.
Then try to get thatone in a million nice sonic pistol, mine is 188-434.
Use Last Ditch and Low blow together.
After they continually heal themselves (all myshots willmore than likely hit healable pools)while poping you with headshot or poisons use the following macro when your mind is coming to an end (say within 20-30 seconds of the fight):
/feign;
/laugh;
Wes:
I am not sure I understand the laughing part but it is obvious you have no clue how play a pistoleer in PvP or how to develop your template. My player Grafted Geno does well over 300 damage Max (actually close to 400) with a 1000+ condition. My DoT Geno has unlimited charges (-1) and has a 172 poison with long duration and high Potency. I have no trouble at all in PvP. Perhaps besides laughing you might want to determine how to PvP.
Wes:
I agree with Big-Large. I have Master Pistoleer, Dirty Fighting Line, Master Fencer, and TK 4/0/0/4. I do very well in PvP. I can spam Last Ditch at 1 second with Tapes and for that matter any pistol shot. I have dodge maxed and with Air cake can add another 30% dodge. I take accuracy foods that boost my accuracy 25, and all of my ranged and melee defenses are maxed. With 2 424 Vasarian Brandies, a mind buff, and Canapes my blue bar is digusting. And can also meditate for an additional +550 blue bar. I keep an emergency Muon on hand, and blue milk which heals blue bar. I also have a Flame Health Dot Geno. If your comment is that a pistoleer in and of itself is not a powerful enough class to tackle a Stacked Rifleman with an Ion Jawa one on one you may be right. But My helmet is 90% resists across the board and 29% Stun resistance. I have no problems at all in PvP. I dodge nicely, hit all the time and shoot fast. And because virtually no one has stun resistance on any arm pieces, gloves boots, and many times legs, random pool hits do tremendous damage when hitting those areas with a Good Geno Weapon. So my comment to you is you must be doing something seriously wrong in PvP, have a bad template, not have the right skill attachments, have bad weapons, or are just not a good PvP player (which I am going to doubt). My only other comment is inflamatory stuff like the "LOL" does not promote the sharing of ideas or opinion it just leads to Flaming. With the really high end defensive stacking nerfed, you should not have trouble hitting your opponents, and with a high damage stun weapon PvP is dramatically better when using a Pistol. Last Point, they are going to turn all Ion Jawa's into Electricity weapons. So the only class targeting your blue Bar left is Two Handed. They will always be a pain to kill no matter whether you have a pistol or any other weapon. But if Changes to DPS are implemented, it will only improve Pistol.
