Thread: Lets confirm if this is real or a rumor, possible legendary weapon
thats what i wanna know
i mean if it is then i would expect it to be VERY rare
im just surprised this didnt turn more heads when it was first posted, let me see if i can find a link to the original post
it was in the smuggler forums.
man theres no way ill find this before i gotta leave, ill have to look later, but im sure if i get some help itll be a lot easier.
Found it prob about 4 weeks ago, maybe more, so its pretty old, and if memory serves it was in the smuggler forum, i believe it was a post about double slicing. I conssidered it to be a double slice, but theres a few things that make me believe it isnt that, one the label, says its exceptional and it wasnt crafted so its not a personlized name, and as well this min dmg would be more, and third the wound chance is just as incredible as the dmg, i mean this thing would turn *edit* inside out.
Ive been hunting ns ever since and havnt found one, trust me im just as optomistic as the next guy, so thats why i wanna find out if this is for real.

I've seen pistols like this.....their called Legendary or Exceptional guns for a reason. True this damage is dam uber but I've also seen ahigh damage Carbine, powerhammer, and I seem to remember a very uber sword at one point. Either way, the powerhammer I've seen a screen shot of had almost 2k damage, yes it could have been fake but everyone seemed to think it was real since it said Legendary. the condition was crap when looted, but it was damm uber.
This gun could have be double sliced true, but there is no doubt the gun was supposed to have very very good stats because its an exceptional weapon. I still say this doesnt compare to a Legendary Carbine that a person on my server found, it had somewhere around a 1.5-2k mind dot. This could be fired in area attacks.....tell me which weapon you want lol.
Lets not forgetthe Legendary Flame thrower found.....it hadthe damage of an average flamer but at a speed of 1.? and a wound chance of 150% (around there I think). That means this was a griefing machinebeing high speed and very high wounds(of course after the flame dot nerf its not as powerful I bet). Considering I have seen a crafted Sonic Pistol on my server get up to almost 700 max damage (had a nice 34% damage slice w/ powerup though), I would like to think the exceptional/legendary pistols could beat that crafted gun.
Lets look at like this, say he looted it and the max damage had 700....would that be more reasonable. If your answer is yes, then you should be able to believe that the gun should be able to get to 1200 damage. How:
700with 35% damageslice = 945 damage
now put a 33% powerup on it and you get over 1200 damage
So unless you think 700 damage for a legendary or Exceptional gunis too uber for everybody, I believe the person could get the damage that high.
