OMG u guys need some serious loving! This is absolutley the worst dps profession i have mastered. Specials are borked, dps is almost non-existant, and the def modifiers are the only reason anyone would want this profession in the first place. To all you pistoleers out there that worked hard to master this and enjoy your profession, i feel your pain and hope u get something soon (real soon!)

I have to agree, like the wookie above i just mastered pistoleer due to a holo.
Im a Master Rifleman also so i have something to compare with...
Jesuz Pistoleer sux!
Besides the defense modifiers, pistoleer is a no no!
If u combine it with smuggler or BH you can get some acceptable specials though, but Pistoleer as a standalone prof is useless really.
Some increased DPS and a ranged KD like the Carbineer one would do the work i think.

If you haven't noticed, everything in this game is broken. And if it's not broken, the Devs will break it eventualy.
