Thread: Why Has Pistoleer Been Such a Long Hard Process for Me?

I've been a Pistoleer since late October and I am currently only 0/0/3/0. I once had 0/2/2/1 but gave some of them up in an effort to be more efficient with my skill points. I spend plenty of time hunting on Dantooine, but the process of gaining xp has been slow at best. Could someone point me in the right direction as far as what type of pistol to use to gain the best Pistol xp? I am a Novice BH as well so I am certified to use a Scatter Pistol, I just don't know what I should do to progress further faster in Pistoleer.

You want the highest damage pistol you can get. The more damage you do the more xp you get. If you can solo Savage Quenkers or whatever they are called you will get around 3000 xp per mob plus more for the nest so your looking at around 20,000 xp per mission. If you can't solo them then go with a group and just try to dish out as much pain as you can. I am a BH so I used the Scatter gun and I can get around 2000+ xp on a mob that has a max of 3000 xp because I am fully buffed and spam Pistol specials at the mob till they drop.
