hi , i have got three geo pistols with damage over time poison . 1 of them is health poison , 1 of them is action poison and 1 of them is mind poison . all three have a strenght of approximately 150 and a duration of 60 seconds .

firstly i would like to know if i can apply all three poisons on the same opponent simulteneously . secondly if the poison lasts 60 seconds , how many times will it tick in those 60 seconds . also what is the best method in using these weapons in pvp , should i apply the poison and then switch to a higher damage weapon for 60 seconds and then apply poison again and repeat ?

any information or advice regarding the usage of these weapons in pvp will be graetly appreciated . thanks .

Yes you can stack them all. They tick once every 10 seconds. Once you get them to stick, then switch to a better weapon (if you have one). I suggest using area attacks if there are multiple enemies (fan shot, pbarea) as you can stick them all with the one shot.

Honestly I dont know if going out of your way to stick them all is the best strategy. I would suggest in pve if all you have is pistol skills, then a health dot is the most efficient because you can then solely target that bar and you will be able to kill the mob the fastest. If it's pvp then chances are you are going to want to stick the mind and possibly the health as well. If the action pistol has a fair amount of damage then it might be worth using for your normal attacks just until it sticks.

All of this is of course dependant on the situation. If a mob has an much greater health bar (unusual) than the rest then you may be better off using fan shot or stopping shot for the random bar damage.

I USED TO take Defense Stacker 2....do you?

thanks for the information guys . against a single opponent i will probably start of with the health poison and if they have good healing ability then move on to mind . against multiple opponents i will stick both health and mind . i agree the action one is not really worth it ( who knows maybe with the combat revamp iif specials eat up your ham bar , it might become worthwhile poisoning the action bar as well ).

not sure if you can stack all of them..... but i would suggest this macro if you can:

/ui action toolbarSlot12;
/pause 0;
/pick a special, i would suggest healthshot2 for the first one;
/pause 0;
/ui action toolbarSlot13;
/pause 0;
/pick another special, you could use healthshot 2 again, or fanshot, stopping shot (if you can fire that fast) eye shot, lowblow, last ditch if you have those;
/pause 0;
/ui action toolbarSlot14;
/pause 0;
/pick one last special... could be any of the first ones, or a new one;
an optional last bit of the macro could include a tell that your queu is done:

/t yourname macro's done; (or something similar)

if you don't know about toolbar slots, those are for the shift + F1, shift + F2, shift + F3 slots
the pauses are in there to let the sever do everything in order as opposed to all at the same time

also to answer your question about the ticking.... i'm PRETTY sure it ticks every 5 seconds, but i could be wrong.... also i think you can apply more of the same poison from the same pistol

someone correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not completely positive

i just noticed this macro won't work..... you'll basically fire the first shot with your first pistol and the second two with the third pistol
also if your current pistol is the first one, your first shot won't fire at all /shrug

if you give me the speed of your weapons and speed mod, i can write you a better macro....... but you might be better off just switching weapons and using the best special (healthshot2 or an AOE attack..... keep in mind pointblankarea1 has a ranged of 10 or 14m and the AOE on pointblankarea2 is broken atm..... fanshot works and fires in a 20* cone in front of you)

What sucks is there isn't a distiguisher for each ham pool. For example there is a icon that displays if someone is set aflame, poisoned, diseased, but its generic. You will know your DoT hit if the icon comes up but you will have no way of knowing when your other DoT's of the same type (multiple poison) stick due to the icon already being there. They need to be smaller and appear next to or under each ham bar so you know what part of the ham is effected.

Maybe the combat rebalance will address that issue.

if you have low potency on the DOT's, they may not stick for a few shots

With buffed players do mind dot. Health and action Dot's are worthless in PVP in my opinion.
