Actually, the certification is suppose to be under the pistoleer tree, stances 2 i believe...even if im wrong about what part of the Pistoleer tree it is, it really doesn't matter. It's suppose to be under the pistoleer tree some where. There is no proof however but the dev's word. So if you don't see it don't think that is not there exactly

What is interesting, and a tad frustrating is that while the modified republic says that marksman pistols 3 is the required skill to use it, it in fact works like crap at that level. Gives you an error message and everything.

The old republic blasters (non modified) were useable by anyone. The Devs recently nerfed them so that any post patch Repubs (Pats 7 I think) require novice pistoleer. Pre nerf Repibs still work for anyone wielding them.

I'm pretty bummed that the weapons SAYS it can be used at that level, but you can't. Either fix the requirements, or change the item description to accurately reflect what level is needed to use it. I have a lot of returned modified blasters cause people buy them and then cannot use them.

I am also wondering about the certifications Featherweight FWG5, the scatter pistol, and the Mod RB.

I own all three they all say no under the description in when I examine. They also don't mention, in the description, as to what level I can use them at, as someone posted above.

Can I assume if I do get the 'You are not certified..." then I can't use them, and if it does not give me the message i can? Or do I just need to look at my combat spam and look for damage output?
