Since i play I hear a lot of people talking about the Speed CAP.
Tonight I tested a fast pistol (1.2 speed with36 speed mod) onsome big Reb flags....
And I saw with a chronometer that I was damaging it faster that 1 time per second, Idamaged themabout73-76 shots in a minute... I tried 4 times for these results.
Anyone tested something like it ? Same results ? Other results?
Thanks

depending on ping time and lag, it might LOOK like under one shot per second, but that is indeed the maximum.
the combat log is unreliable for timing.

Right, the timestamps are client side, meaning they are done on your computer (not the server) and subject to lag. They stamp based on when the data packets come back from the server, which varies by a few fractions of a second.
You may have seen threads about supposed "exploiters" firing dozens of times in a single second, complete with screenshots of timestamps to "prove it." These are not cheaters of any sort, but victims of severe lag spikes. Even 3rd party speed hack applications only speed up the rate at which your character runs, not fires. Actually those kind of suck as well, as the server does a fair job of resynching your character and you bounce around like a rubber band every 20 seconds or so. I've seen them in action.
