Thread: The only way to make pistoleer work in PVP

you have mastered pistoleer
you get your butt stopmed in pvp because you cant hit anyone
if you hit anyone you do very little damage
you need to master brawler and use intimidate on your enemy first it drops his defenses tozero and lowers his damage 50%
also it lasts 90 seconds not the mere 20 seconds of intimidate 1
If you dont believe me have a master brawler friend intimidate someone your dueling and you know you cant hit .

If you are refering to it actually stopping something yes. It will not hinder your enemy from attacking you. What it will do is hit a random pool. It is also the hardest hitting pistoleer special, but it is slow. So I will go out on the limb and say it is not borked. It just doesn't do what has been advertised

But first you have to use the credit dupe exploit to make enough money to pay for it.

Somehow I highly doubt TheNiceGuy has ever done PvP with a pistol before. I guess I can't knock him for dreaming though.

Unless you have a damn fast geo blaster, or the BH pistol speed its not gonna be a good idea to fire off stopping shot with a standard geo. And i know you said krayt one so it would practically be a low speed but you need a schem, a willing smithy, and good tissues, 5 of em. Not the easiest things to get unless you plan to spend a lot of time or a lot of money.

Not really, try fighting someone with doc in their template. You probably need to hit them 300 times with stopping shot if they know what they are doing. You will likely be dead by then, since they will either have rifle, fencer, CM or pike. The DOT's will take you down before you get off enough shots.
If you don't use brawler/tka/fencer state effects, you are dead.
