i done some research and the top pistolleer skill requires 450,000 xp 125,000 was hard enough.

does anyone have this different?

This is true.. but the better you get skill wise.. the easier XP comes.

I get 1K (with my little mouse droid grouped) for soloing Humbaba's on Corellia... there was a point when soloing a humbaba was next to impossible... now I do humbaba destroy missions all the time.

And that's just an example on a starting world...

When I go hunting with my group on Endor and we do Bordok's I get about 2500 to 3000 xp per Aggrivated Bordok Mare. And we can take one down in about 10 seconds. God I love Bordok lairs.

So yeah.. you need a lot more XP for the advanced professions.. but it's a hell of a lot easier to get than it was to get INTO those advanced professions.

Another example... it seemed like pulling teeth to get the 40K Combat XP to get Novice BH... but the additional 60K Combat XP for Intermediate Pistol Special Abilities (Melee Defense 1/Pistol Whip) was much faster in comparison.

Just make sure you move on to bigger badder things as you yourself get bigger and badder.

Heck... I run around one shotting all those Corellian Butterflies, Durni's and Gubbers that were such a pain when I first started playing... of course now I only get 1 XP for one of those... but it's still funny.
