Ive got a big problem!, i recently bought a second hand geo blaster from a guidy stats are something like condition 830/890 dmg 110-200. I tested it out in a duel both buffed while shooting keeping my mouse on the weapon to see the condition.
I saw it go down 10 points in about 1 minute, i was thinking what the hell! so i switched to my dx2 right away.
I asked in the guild later on what this was about, someone told me not to use a powerup wich i was using during that fight, i removed it and attacked the nearest animal to see if it made a differance, targeted a blue con animal and before i had him 50% dead it allready decreased 5 points of condition.
What am i doing wrong ? such a waste of money if its broken after 1 day of pvp

thats why i have an absurd amount of really good guns, androtate (cycle them) to avoid breaking any single one. I have jedi friends who do this with their sabers too.

Geo blasters do lose condition faster. Some being crafted now have starting conditions of over 1100, which helps some. I bought some schems and keep having our guild wepsmth make then for me since they decay so rapidly. As far as using a powerup, thats been debated on whether it actually decays the wep faster or not. Slicing also is supposed to decay the wep faster. I only use my geos for certain things, like pvp, or large groups of storm troopers or enemies with little or no stun protection.
Power ups do in fact decacy your weapon faster, but slicing does not. Slicing only decreases the max condition a bit.

My experience would suggest otherwise. The stock weapons I use lose condition much more slowly than my sliced guns...I rarely use powerups, so that's not a factor here

Powerups definetly make a gun lose condition must faster. I noticed that Sonics lose condition very fast as well. It's not really avoidable unless you choose to not slice and not pup your weapons, which would be compromising the damage and speed.

I've noticed that geo pistols go down in condition extremely fast, as well.
Consideringhow expensive these are, and the factthat this is the only gun that makes pistoleer competitive in PvP, they really ought to last longer.

Actually ive had a funny exprience with a geo blaster its max is only 102 sucks, and it decays so freaken slow, then i took the time to buy a good geo blaster the goodone almost died on me in just one day of killing tuskens really weird stuff. Seems the better it is the faster it decays really blows =(
