I just got back from a six month break from the game, and I'm at a bit of a loss where to start. So much has changed since I left. Not just the vehicles, cities, and insane amount of player Jedi, but the creatures themselves have gone through many changes. I'm a 2 / 2 / 4 / 3 Pistoleer & 0 / 4 / 1 / 4 Smuggler, trying to master both professions. In other words, I have A LOT of pistol experience I need to earn.

Before my break I was a bit lazy with earning xp, I probably spent 3 months getting that far in the profession. But now I've decided I want to work hard and get master. Just to get it done with so I can quit worrying aboutleveling and just have fun. Problem is, I've forgotten what to hunt. Or, quite possible, I never knew in the first place.

I have good buffs & food, so I should be able to handle pretty much anything without dying. But we all know that some things are more time efficient than others, and I'd really like to make some progress. I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times before, and I appreciate your input. I'm just want to have fun and accomplish something, I'm not grinding for a fs slot.

Gurks on Lok are good. I'm currently getting around 3.5k each. I aslo call my low level pet and leave it at the starport while grouped for an XP bonus. Plus the herbivore meat is valuable to medic/docs...assuming it is of good quality at the time and you have scout of course.

giant baz nitchs on dath, 4k a pop, in just 3 days i got 0043 in pistoleer, thats good considering i have to grind for smuggler as well but its good to do pistolleer first before workign on smuggler once u get 4444 in psioleer your gonan get exp alot eaiser for smuggler

If you have some way to deal with PvE DoTs (poisons, disease, bleeds), consider Endor. With a good modded republic, DX2, and FWG5, you're pretty much good to go slaughtering the whole planet. The only thing I recommend steering clear of is arachnes, as they have good resists to acid, energy, and heat.

I've been dual leveling ranger and pistoleer there. The pistol XP flies in VERY fast. For XP, the best strategy is just to roam and kill, but if you're looking to make money also, focus on crimson blurgg missions for 11k a pop. Your DX2 will cut through them fast, and you'll rake in a little over 4k weapons xp per kill. They also don't have any really nasty specials to contend with.
