I heard that def mods were capped at 125. Is this also the same for pistol acc and speed mods?

Last I heard was that anything over 100 is wasted....
Examples:
105 in pistol speed = 5 points wasted, it does nothing.
120 in pistol accuracy = 20 points wasted, it also does nothing.
There was some equation that explained the points and how they work for you.
In the equation anything over 100 was wasted.
Sorry to let you know...
Back in the day a Bounty hunter was feared, now they are not and there is something very wrong with that.....

Offensive mods are not capped. Speed is capped in a way, due to the formula used to determine weapon speed. As you approach +100 speed, you get closer to the one-second speed cap. However, due to the incredibly stupid formula used by the devs, anything over +100 is a waste.
For now.
With the combat revamp, the formulae and skill modsare supposed to be redone, and all speed is supposed to matter. However, I could see a possible hard cap being put on speed, especially since the one-second cap will still be in place, but much harder to attain. Imagine the speed of someone with master pistoleer and the BH pistol line. You can't really take the speed mods out of the BH line, or the BHs will view it as a nerf, and rightfully so. So, in order to keep the pistoleer a viable profession on its own, you'd have to either cap the speed at a certain number or make BH and pistoleer speed mods unstackable, which would be something of a pain in the butt to see, and would again be viewed as a nerf.
Long answer...simple version: Speed capped at 100, accuracy not capped.
