I dropped Master Pistoleer to go for Master Bounty Hunter and have a q regarding the Pistol lines. I kept the techniques line and was wondering for PvP if I should put my remaining 3 boxes in Dodge or Accuracy.

In PvP Pistoleers stay on the move at all times so am I better off having increased accuracy while moving than extra defense??

Tough choice. I think accuracy is more important since you cant get over 100 dodge in three boxes. With high enough accuracy, you can hit just about any defense stacker like fencers. I dont think dodge would be that useful if you only had it at like 50 or 60.

I'd have to agree on the accuracy. When I was leveling pistoleer, I went with the grips linebefore marksmanship(in PvE), and regretted it. I think overall the ability to hit your target morefrequently outweighs the dodge bonuses, especially if looking at three boxes. The dodge is nice, but actually landing shots is a bit nicer.

I'll leave my comments below but probably should have read the post better to start. If you are only going to have 3 boxes, I might still lean towards dodge but that's going to drop you down to +60. Not nearly as attractive as +80.

I might have to disagree with the others a bit. Normally, I would say accuracy all the way. I like seeing all green in the combat log. However, if you are going for MBH, you will have quite a bit of accuracy when you hit Expert BH.

With MBH / Dead-eye, you will have +155. Without Dead-eye, you will have +120. I'm not convinced that extra +30 will make as significant an impact as you might like -- especially against a player with +125 ranged defense, +125 dodge, and COB to boot.

If you take the grips line, you can get your dodge up to +80. This is why I think it is significant.

Your ranged and melee defense really affect whether or not you get hit. Because your defenses are rather low, you would have a whole lot of ground to make up to make a significant dent on someone's ability to hit you. However, your active defenses -- like dodge -- kick in when the hit lands and you get a roll to see if you evade it or not. +80 dodge is probably more valuable than +80 ranged defense in my opinion.

As a MBH, you are going to have quite a bit of green in your combat log. I think you might get more use out of the active defense rather than the accuracy. Just an opinion.

For PvE that's a toss up, both good options. But for PvP I say go with accuracy. It will have a bigger impact on you in PvP play. With the amount of dodge you'll get from just the 4 boxes, won't make much difference in PvP. But as you said we stay mobile a lot, and accuracy is a huge deal in PvP.
