Thread: Best pistol for PvP???

I havent been PvPing all that long. I had been using a geo (max 370 with pup) but, yesterday I decided to try a De-10 as everyone i hear keeps saying that de-10s are the best for PVP. I spent most of yesterday using it, and a little bit of today. My conclusion is that DE-10s are terrible for PvP. This DE was doing max 420 with a pup, but in PvP, the most it did against a person with armour/PSG was 76 damage!!. In contrast, the geo was doing around 250-300... I dont really understand why people are willing to pay millions for a DE that does signifigantly less damage in PvP than a geo, which would cost you a few 100k for a good one. Assuming that I didnt just have a wiered bug, a geo will ALWAYS do more damage than a de in PvP, assuming their base damages are roughly equal.
For those people who like De-10s, can you tell me why exactly? Could it be that im just bugged?

maybe cause the De-10 looks cool but other than that ill stick to my 500 max dmg with pu geofor pvp

Against a well prepared person neither will doany significantdamage... Against someone with stun armour + PSG the geo is worthless (at least untill the PSG breaks) my 500 damage geo hits in the low teens 
DE-10's hit slightly harder. But if ever they dont have a PSG, or its broken, then use the geo.

Thats why for pvp you should have two guns. Ahigh end geo and a high end scatter.Istart off with my geo and observe the damage. If I see below 100 damage tics then I am most likely fighting a stun resist enemy. So Iswitch to the acid damage of my scatter. This tactic works great for me as stun armor is usualy more suseptable to acid damage and there is no acid protection froma psg at all. Other then this its just what specials you want to use. I have dirty fighting 4 and bh pistols 4 so I have some choices. Once I figure out what sort of pvper I am fighting I usualy throw all the bleeds and fire on. Then I spam last ditch, even though it affects random pools it chews through ham pretty fast. If they have medic skills I spam eye shot. Other then this there isnt that much to it. DE-10 are jedi killing weapons thatsimply eat unarmored opponents that can't use PSG's .They are not at the moment general pvp weapons. Period.

rotate btwn your DOT geo (if u have one), a mod rep blaster (for a sick bleed), the DE-10 for some good torso shot (good wound %), then equip either your uber scatter or uber geo and kill everything blue and red on your screen.

Just on a note of humor, the words "best", "pistol", and "PvP" do not belong in the same sentence without the modifier "not" appearing in front of one of those three words. Have a great weekend!
